| The Tennessee RiverLine Partnership’s 2023 Annual Report is here, showcasing another year of incredible progress along the Tennessee River. A few highlights from last year: Over 100 recreation and stewardship events hosted by Tennessee RiverTowns Program communities and the Tennessee RiverLine team offering 4,550 participants new river experiences. Conceptual designs completed for nine communities, showcasing local visions for the Tennessee RiverLine. Introduction of the “Plan Your Journey” trip planning toolkit. Featured on international kayaking television show with world champion kayaker Ken Whiting, reaching 3.5M viewers. 307 media placements. Investment in research that will inform shoreline management practices across the region in partnership with UT’s One Health Initiative. With over 250 volunteer leaders, 20 Tennessee RiverTowns Program communities, and support from UT Extension with principal partners UT Knoxville and TVA, our success is a testament to the power of partnerships.
