The Open Space Institute (OSI) has shared electronic versions of two new publications.
Their 2023 Annual Report is an inspiring compilation of OSI’s initiatives and successes from the past year. In it, you will read about how OSI is working tirelessly to save the landscapes we love and need throughout the eastern United States and making protected land more available and welcoming for all. It includes “Capturing Carbon in Tennessee” on page 9, and a feature on the new Paint Rock National Wildlife Refuge on page 12.
In addition, A Celebration of the Open Space Institute – 50 Years/50 Projects commemorates OSI’s 50th Anniversary. This new book encapsulates fifty of OSI’s biggest and best projects to date and tells the story of OSI’s incredible evolution from a regionally focused land trust to one of the largest and most influential conservation organizations in the nation. It features Denny Cove on page 55.
