Tennessee State Parks hosted a Head of the Crow State Park public visioning open house on Feb. 17th at the St. Mark’s Community Center in Sewanee.
The purpose was to hear the public’s vision about the future of the Head of the Crow State Park, which opened in October 2025 as Tennessee’s newest state park and to gather thoughts, opinions, and ideas about what amenities, facilities, and trails can be added and improved across the park.
CRO Planning & Design, a consulting firm helping plan the park, has shared the public visioning survey link so that you can forward it to your friends, colleagues, and broader network. They encourage you to share the survey far and wide – the more survey responses they can get, the better!
The survey asks similar questions to the poster boards you saw if you attended the public meeting and should take around five minutes to complete. It asks questions about people’s existing experiences at Head of the Crow State Park, their vision for the park, and what kinds of assets they would like to see developed over the park’s lifetime.

The deadline to complete the survey is March 31st, 2026.
Please reach out to CRO’s Senior Recreation Planner, Brett Rannow (brett@croplanning.com), with any questions about the survey.
