SATURDAY, MARCH 25 & APRIL 8, 2023 AT 12 PM EDT
We are excited to gather again on the land at Sequatchie Valley Institute, on the north escarpment of the beautiful Sequatchie Valley to commune with the wonders of Spring.
Please park at the creek and register at Liquidambar Art Gallery. We will begin our hike up the side of the valley at 11am CDT on Hemlock Grove Trail, guided by John Johnson, forester, naturalist, and tree-hugger. From there we will move with the curves, rocks, and ridges of the land along the NEW creekside trail. We will take some time in the flower-covered Flat Place before heading to Moonshadow, our solar powered home and SVI center, then down to the Gallery.
Remember to bring snacks, water, natural bug repellent, phones, closed toe hikers, family and friends!
Because of preserving the habitat, please kindly refrain from bringing your fur babies.
Our suggested donation is $10 per person, family rates available, and no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Please arrive by 11 am Central Time. Early arrivals may visit the Gallery, which will also be open after the hike.
