The Threats of White-Nose Syndrome on Tennessee River Gorge Bat Communities

The Tennessee River Gorge is home to a rich cave system that provides a unique ecosystem for a variety of species such as the Tennessee cave salamander, Barr’s cave spider, southern crayfish etc.  

One species that is of high interest at the Tennessee River Gorge Trust is the Tricolored bat.
