Coming your way in November, the Everest Challenge is BACK.
Get a jump on holiday merry-making with a month-long commitment to get you out moving. Our March virtual event was such a success we’ve decided to offer it again.
After enjoying some popularity in the cycling community, “Everesting” evolved to include pedestrians. Quite simply put, to Everest, you’ll pick any hill (or stairs), anywhere in the world, and climb repeatedly, until you reach the height of Mt. Everest at 29,032′. To meet the challenge, average a little over 967′ per day or roughly one trip up most of Chattanooga’s local mountains.
The beauty of a virtual event is that you can complete it anywhere and anytime, including in a building or parking garage stairwells, and on overpasses. We hope you’ll get outside and enjoy the amazing fall weather and our gorgeous trails.
Keep an out for group everesting events in November.
