National Weed Wrangle is March 1 – Volunteers Needed

The National Weed Wrangle is a one-day, area-wide volunteer effort that rescues our green spaces from non-native invasive species! On March 1st, Reflection Riding is hosting a Chattanooga-based clean-up by their campus to wrangle weeds in partnership with Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park. You’ll expand your skills in land conservation and help promote native plant growth, which benefits the entire ecosystem!

Ethan Brincefield, Reflection Riding’s Invasive Species Specialist, recently participated in Invasive Species Training through Invasives Free USA and Wild Spotter at Lake Guntersville State Park. He was inspired by the camaraderie across organizations and their shared passion for land conservation. Going forward, he’s excited to generate local interest through programming and education. The Weed Wrangle is a great opportunity to make a lasting difference in our environment!
