A photography project for 2025, where each month I present several of my favorite photos taken during the preceding month.
May seems to have presented extra opportunities for photography.
I caught this rainbow view from my backyard in early May.A handheld smartphone shot of the full moon from my back porch. These baby goats at the University Farm are just irresistible. This box turtle spotted along a trail is one of several I’ve encountered this spring. I may seem obsessed with this view of Lost Cove from the new overlook at Point Disappointment, since I’ve featured it three months in a row, but I’ve recorded the transition from a completely bare forest in March, to one filled with spring foliage in April, to this summer look on the last day of May. One more. Blooming mountain laurel added a nice touch to this view from Sewanee’s Piney Point.
Watch next month for June’s photos.
