Each mile provides a new adventure, from quiet escapes to riverside campgrounds, resorts, parks, and wildlife refuges, to breathtaking museums, Civil War battlefields, and public and performing arts.
Seven communities in the Chattanooga region are part of the Tennessee RiverLine’s network of Rivertown Communities, using the Tennessee River to enhance outdoor recreation, tourism, and economic opportunity. Tennessee communities include Spring City, Dayton, Chattanooga, South Pittsburg, and Meigs County, while Bridgeport and Jackson County represent Alabama in this regional initiative.
